In this release we have made some big improvements to the browser, it should be working a lot smoother.
Other important updates:
– Skipping in videos that are buffering works much better
– The player always remembers your position, even after a restart
– If adding a torrent that is already in your BitLord we add new trackers
– Made Add Torrents dialog smaller

Finally a new version is ready. We have worked hard to improve skipping while streaming. Skipping should work in most videos now. So, say you have only downloaded 5% of a video torrent you can now skip to anywhere in the video and it will load.
We also updated both libtorrent (our library for handling torrents) and qt (our user interface framework)

We just released a new version where we did the following:
– Fixed bug where when changing subtitle size the video would restart
– Removed the usenet search option from the user interface
– Added improved logging (this should help us fix more bugs)

Now BitLord for MacOS has finally caught up with our Windows version. Except for one big thing. It is still missing Chromecast support, we are working on getting that working and also to get AirPlay back as soon as possible.

– Mainly bug fixes.
– User interface improvements.
– Updated to latest Qt framework version.

We have just released a new version BitLord 2.4.5-318
This is a big step for us, we have included support for Chromecasting. This will allow you to send videos to your TV in the easiest way possible. There are some limitations with our implementation.
1. It is not possible to skip in the video during chromecasting. It is possible to pause.
2. It is not possible to detect your Chromecast device if you are using a VPN.

Unfortunately we also had to remove the AirPlay feature because it did not work anymore. We are working on fixing it.
We have also done some smaller bug fixes.
OSX version with all new features is being worked on.

At the moment we are working on getting all the older torrents back online. It is a really big database so we need a bit of time (and server downtime) to get it back up.

We are working to upgrade our search engine. It is old and needs to be renewed. Unforrunately it will mean some sporadic behavior. The search engine might be totally unresponsive at times.
So sorry about this, but i hope everyone will be happy once we are back. And better than ever 🙂

BitLord has gotten a little face lift! Now with an updated logo and icon, we think it looks spiffy.
Other focuses in this release has been bugs. We fixed one issue where resolution changes would make BitLord crash. Hopefully this will fix some of the problems users have had in the previous version.
We are continuing to work on our support for google chromecast. Crossing fingers that this will be ready for the next version.

We are working hard to bring what you download in BitLord easily to your TV screen. Our first step is to add AirPlay support in our windows version of BitLord. This way, when downloading a mp4, m4v or mov file you can easily cast it straight to your Apple TV. We will now be working on Chromecast.

– Nicer interface for BitLord Player
– Mute audio by clicking icon in Player

Hi everyone!
Today we are releasing a smaller release, but with several important improvements and changes. The main difference for you, the user, will be our new ad blocker inside the browser. We added this because a lot of users are complaining about ads showing up in their tabs. We hope this solves the problem. Please let us know if it does not.
